Since upgrading to Yosemite, I cannot transfer files between the 2 computers
referred to below (transferring from MB Air to iMac).

I’ve spent a long time researching the problem on the web but the best I came
up with was the following link suggesting to direct two computers to different
networks and then reverting to the original one. I don’t have access to another
network, so that fix can’t be used in my case.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6608769

The two computers recognise each other early on in the linkup but as soon as I
highlight the files to be shared and then press “airdrop” under the “share”
icon, the iMac screen drops the MB Air photo and the link is lost. I’ve also
tried “search for older mac”, but I don’t get any further.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Graham Rabe
