Hi Severin,

Very quick reply as out working, so can't help WAMUG much today.
When you installed the software for the R2880, you installed the 'Epson Print 
CD' program for printing label designs directly onto printable CD's & DVD's 

You need to use InkJet -Printable CD's & DVD's I've used this software for 
years and only ever use Verbatim Inkjet Printable DVD-R,  DVD+R DL, CD-R
Have never burnt a 'coaster' DVD in all the years using verbatim DVD-R & DVD+R 
DL (for dual layer discs)

I've always stayed well away from Imation Discs. And never use stick on labels.
If a stick on label starts to peel in a CD/DVD player or in your computer's 
optical drive... You are in a heap of trouble!
