Hi Ronni, I tried the Update option and it came up with the message, "An error occurred during purchase" and would not go any further. I tried it on all the apps listed, so this option is not a viable one.
If you would so good as to upload the iPhoto 9.6.1 to your Dropbox or Copy folder and let me know how to access it I would be more than grateful. Would I then just need to delete the old application and put the new one in place and open it? Once again thanks very much. Matt.
