After some time the guess has become a belief, but never the less wrong. Too many facts of to day indicates that Darwin was right and why so many people think otherwise is beyond me. -----> OK, Claes -- you win ..... At first both you and me were fish!    I can't say "monkeys and apes" because they still exist ... and if they would have truly evolved into something else, as Eohippus evolved into Equus, then they would be extinct, just like Eohippus is. But they're not, so they didn't.   But Neanderthal man is extinct. Still they might have left some genes in the modern man somewhere. But if you'd like to expound on life being placed here by beings from another world ... COOL   --It's under discussion, but not in the scientific world. They don't dare to tuch the storys. It would rampage the whole religious ivorytower. But still... The explosion of whit in the Mesopotamian area about 7 - 10.000 years ago is unexplained. Evolution is a fact, but evolution can not be resposible for the giant jump that presumably took place there. Evolution takes a small step and then another small step many years later. No jumping takes place that way. The right answere? We will never know, I think.
