I know, I had uninstalled Ruby 1.8.7 because the require 'watir' kept failing, and installed Ruby 1.8.6, but now the install of watir won't work.
When I typed "gem install watir" in Ruby 1.8.7, I got Watir 2. I don't want Watir 2, I want 1.6.2. Will that just happen by magic? I know I can just try it, but I'm getting really tired of uninstalling and installing things. thanks, Lisa On Thu, Feb 16, 2012 at 6:28 PM, Željko Filipin <zeljko.fili...@gmail.com>wrote: > On Thu, Feb 16, 2012 at 7:10 PM, Lisa Crispin <lisa.cris...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > I get *** LOCAL GEMS *** > > If it does not list watir gem there, then you do not have it installed. > Try running this again: > > gem install watir > > Željko > > -- > Before posting, please read http://watir.com/support.
