Here are the bots I know about:
*Mail-digester*
Written in python, using App Engine as backend to send emails. Open source.
Allows to receive emails into Google Wave.
You can find more on Google Wave -
https://wave.google.com/wave/waveref/googlewave.com/w+p7SkgULGJ. With some
patches can handle basic HTML (to receieve emails in GWave).
*Emaily*
[email protected]
Allows: to receive emails into Google Wave. To send an email you have to
add a recipient address (option to import contacts from Google Contacts),
and then every time a blip is submitted - the bot sends email to all
email recipients. Read more here -
http://blog.arpitnext.com/2009/11/send-and-receive-email-in-google-wave-emaily-robot.html.
Only plain text is supported.
*Wavy eMail (beta) *
My own attempt to create an email to wave extension.
Written in Java and is using App Engine as backend to send emails. Uses a
wave gadget as interface. Basically it is an attempt to simulate familiar
web mail interface inside Google Wave. Supports receiving/sending emails in
HTML format. Supports attachments. I never cared enough to open source the
code though. You can learn more on Google Wave at
