Hi -
My husband and I, both retired teachers, moved to Mount Airy, NC, this
past October. My husband grew up there, so for him it's a real
homecoming. I'm also familiar with the area since we have visited his
family there (now *here*) every summer, for decades. I have watched the
town change through the years,and I'm well aware of the economic boon
afforded the town through the connection to "Mayberry."

Aside from being a big Andy Griffith fan, I am a police officer with the
Clearwater FL PD. I'm Chief Master-At-Arms in the US Navy (Reserves). I
was originally mobilized in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in February
2008 for operations in Ramadi, Iraq. In July, 2008 I was diverted to
Bagram Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is
currently working classified missions with Task Group Trident side by
side the Army's 783rd MP BN and 715th MP CO, Task Force Wolverine in the
101st Airborne Division. I will be returning home in June, 2009 to my
better half (wife Michelle) and daughter, Brittany (18). I have two sons
Luke (16) and Adam (10) whom live with their mother near Lynchburg,
Virginia during the school year. I'm a graduate of Liberty University
with a B.S. in Business Adminstration and an M.A. In Human Services.

I'm in my mid 30's I grew up near Tampa Florida and I am now living in
Auburn Alabama. I work with a company called, HeartStrings Enterprises
as a Human Resources manager. I have been a fan of The Andy Griffith
show for a while now. I will admit there are many episodes that i've not
seen an want to see. I am currently teaching two combined Sunday School
