Ok, what a mess this thread has become. Sorry I
got it all mixed up.

Jan,
The Chamber site isn't mine I'd do it quite differently especially in the
site organization. It is one I've been asked to make suggestions to
approve.
As far as the size goes I suspect that Houston, TX is a lot bigger than
Chandler, Az. <grin />
Thanks for taking a look especially since the thread on the mail list got
hijacked by Sherry's question.

Cheryl,
I think the site looks great and your design is very
creative. I also like your design on the sub pages too. Clicking on
links opened the other pages smoothly, and I really enjoyed that.
It has a good amount of "white space" to balance out the
pages, all the links work, all the images look good too.
The size of the text (10pt) is good and I can read it easily.
It's a much bigger web site than what I had imagined it
would be. For some reason, I was thinking of the Chandler,
AZ Chamber of Commerce, which was very small when I lived there.

Somehow I've been nominated to make suggestions on how to improve the
"Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce" website. Not that I'm
being
paid to do this since they already have a contract with the people who
produce their directory but since I'm a member of the Chamber I've
gotten stuck with the making recommendations. Without any power to
actually make changes mind you just 'suggestions'.
I've been working on taxes so my brain is fried. I'd appreciate any
comments, suggestions, criticism, what is missing that should be
there, navigation improvements, etc. that any of you may have.
Be brutal if you want, after all you won't hurt my feelings. <grin />

Believe it or not it is a vast improvement over what they had a year ago.
They've got a new board who supposedly is wanting to make the site more
intuitive and actually useful.
