Hi Peter,

I'm not sure of the correct terminology,  but...

It might be the "regions" thing.  I.E., the way a US notebook might not play
a DVD from Asia or South America because of the different region code.  I
know my eMachine won't.  Perhaps the region code for NZ was put on the CD
when your son wrote it.  I would imagine that NZ and GB share the same
region code for linguistic, historic, and trade reasons.

Just a guess..
