This suggests that if you have a modem plus router setup that any changes
you made to 192.168.0.1 were made to your router and not the modem. If all
you did in the end was reset the router, it shouldn't matter.
However, you haven't reset the modem then. To do that, plug in directly to the modem from any machine. Then login to the 192.169.0.1 address and do the reset. Then replug back to the router and recycle the router (power on and off) and the modem. Router back on first, then modem. That should clear the dsl modem and any problems it has.
