Peter,

First of all, I've seen problems with some Creative webcams and XP Pro 
(especially if you're not logged on as an administrator). Creative's latest 
software fixes a lot of these, though, so it's definitely worth downloading 
that rather than using whatever CD came with it in the first place.

I can think of a few options:

- try installing the software again, over the top of what's already there, and 
see if that fixes it
- look in the relevant Start menu folder and see if there's an "uninstall" 
shortcut there
- delete the relevant Program Files directory and then run a registry cleanup 
with something like Norton Utilities

Might also be worth running the original setup program again in case it offers 
a "repair" option.
