Hi Ken,

Both Cyrus and Cyrus sasl are running perfectly.

Cyrus is integrated into web-cyradm for the domains and user accounts.

The question is how can I use permit_sasl_authenticated if web-cyradm created
users does not have a corresponding sasl user created
(saslpasswd2 -c)...

I'll find a way around this, but it would be much easier if web-cyradm could
create the sasl user as well.

Regards,

Dudi

It's really not all that difficult. If you've sufficient *nix
sysadmin experience to be running a mailserver then Luc's How-To should
be pretty easy to follow. I suggest you make life easy on yourself
and stick to his "recipe", all the more so if you're relatively
inexperienced sysadmin.

Cyrus and Cyrus-SASL can be pretty complex beasts, however, and a
minimal presual of their respecitve documentation is highly recommended
as a supplement to Luc's How-To.

Sems to me this would be lot's easier than hacking at PHP code.
Especially since you're not into PHP in the first place...;-)

That would be my $0.2 and, fwiw, I've been using Postfix for several
years now and rolled out WebCyradm on serveral networks.
