That's what I usually do. But since it's UTF-8 and I want to make sure your mail client won't interfere with that, I prefer to send it attached. :-)
My client reads data as it is, so it will handle UTF-8. Anyway, is it ok to apply? Yes, but I need the patch to apply it.
