I tried several VPS providers before settling on Slicehost. There's not the cheapest, but they are reliable, proactive when problems hit (DoS attacks, hardware issues) and communicative about problems when they occur (which isn't often). They wrote their own VPS management layer which lets you provision servers very easily as needed without having to wait. You can also upgrade servers nondestructively which I've found useful on occasions. You can also configure automated weekly/monthly backups. I've heard good things about Linode also, but haven't seen the need to try them as I'm happy with Slicehost.
Hope this helps, cheers, Darcy On Oct 26, 8:51 pm, Alex Fanjul <alex.fan...@gmail.com> wrote: > Could you tell us about slicehost? cons, pros, etc?
