I have another quick question. Why, when I set an application to
Refuse new session, does it do that for awhile, but then revert
back to accepting new session after about 1/2 hour?
Um, 'cause all the sessions terminated so the app halted itself and
wotaskd restarted it? This is, after all, the entire reason for
Refuse New Sessions to exist. If you just want it to die, turn off
Auto Recover.
Also, is there anyway to set Refuse New Sessions on just one
instance instead of having to do it for all currently running
instances?
It usually is not something you do manually. Schedule the instances
to restarted at staggered intervals and the rest will be taken care
of for you.
