Question for you on this, since I am not big on understanding how to deploy WO
apps in various scenarios, perhaps you might know.

Assume I have no control of the deployment machines (Windows).

I will need to install WebObjects.exe or WebObjects.dll in the "cgi-bin"
directory of the webserver, I am not sure if it will be IIS or Apache.

So far this I know.

Now its unlikely that I am going to be able to install WebObjects on the
appserver, therefore I will not have a running wotaskd to point Monitor to.
Since my app is self containd, i.e. it has all the support framworks embedded
in the .woa wrapper, I will not need WebObjects installed to support it, it
will run on any machine (in this case Windows) that has a JVM of 1.4 or greater
installed.

How would I "tell" the WebObjects adapter on the WebServer to "point" to my app
instances?

I assume I would probably have to create some kind of "deployment descriptor"
that the adapter would consult to do the right thing.

I have read the WO deployment docs but its not really clear if this scenario is
supported.
