The scenario you described is quite familiar ..I think it is ip related and
someone in the list did hit similar one and resolved.
Just a dumb question, how is your hosts file look?
It shall contain one localhost ip and the server ip is required, if JM is
expecting a server ip.
Cheers

localhost ip will be 127.0.0.1 .. which is different to the host expected
by JM in this case (especially when multiple boxes are involved).
No split install involved.
Thanks.

May be check "hosts" file to see if localhost ip is properly set. It
did happen to my Linux before.
Also, is it a split installed?

Thanks Chuck -- but it turned out to be something *much* simpler.
I'd added WOHost=localhost to my properties file (assuming it would be
ignored/overridden when run from JM). Turns out it's not :-)

Hi all,
got a weird thing happening whereby some new deployed builds
successfully start up, so far as the logs are concerned, but Java
Monitor/wotaskd, can't see that it's up - and thus report a death.
Naturally you can't visit the site either.
Any ideas on how to track down what's wrong?
Thanks.
