As I mentioned, I found the solution :-) i.e., the host the instance
in JM was to be starting up with was different to the host the
application had.
Just a dumb question, how is your hosts file look?
It shall contain one localhost ip and the server ip is required, if
JM is expecting a server ip.
Yep, similar + extra internal ip/host combinations
