Thanks for all the answers.

Just wanted to let you know that I upgraded to Snow Leopard, and everything works fine. I got all Eclipse versions working on both Leopard and Snow Leopard.

The original problem was an old one! I know I had read about it in this group earlier:

I had a space in my file path to eclipse, that made it impossible to create Wonder Applications. Java apps worked fine though.

Regards
/Fredrik

Hello and thanks for all replies!

When I try to create a new Wonder Application in Eclipse I get the following error:

It seems to indicate java 1.6. My eclipse setting is 1.5 though!

Nothing we do requires 1.6. You should be fine running Eclipse 3.5 on any platform.

Leopard does not support 32Bit Java 6. I believe Snow Leopard does but Leopard does not. The only java 1.6 that leopard supports is 64bit.

Hello List!

I am trying to get the new Eclipse 3.5 cocoa to work on my core duo 32 bit mac (leopard). There seems to be some problems since WOlips are using the java 1.6 libraries and according to this note on an apple support document:

The Java SE 6 release for Leopard is targeted at Java developers. This version of Java for Mac OS X requires an Intel- based Mac capable of running 64-bit applications, including computers with Core 2 Duo processors and any Mac Pro computer.

Is it the case that my machine is excluded from the cocoa/ eclipse3.5/new wolips coolish feature sets!

What about Snow Leopard! I was hoping to upgrade to that!

Anyone with the same problem?

/Fredrik
