Hi Dan, No it was not difficult at all. You just need to understand how you can use D2WContext class and inferring rules in your code. It's fun to play in this domain.
I never used plists so I can't really comment. However I like XML because it's easy to read and I think it is better choice to exchange info than JSON or PLIST as XML parsers are available in every platform. I will never vote for SOAP. I consider it to be overly engineered integration choice.
