I apologize for not being active over the past month - my wedding coming up Aug 9th - following it with a much needed vacation...
This situation I think we are just beating it up more and more. I believe we have a consensus to remove the "foreign material" and to review it for submission appropriately to meet the process that should be followed. As to the opinions expressed around if it should or shouldn’t be on .org or on .com I believe we should allow someone to clearly argue their points - I am sure they got posted on those spots for a reason... regardless it being outside of the process. Still undecided on whether the content should be on .org --Ron -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stephen Lau Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2008 8:39 PM To: Simon Phipps Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [website-discuss] VMware box on homepage Simon Phipps wrote: > > On Jul 11, 2008, at 01:07, Stephen Lau wrote: >> Who decides they are "acceptable"? > > In the previous posting you made, you did. We sought a compromise last time, which was to leave the content up and develop a process to work together to publish these sorts of changes. We all agreed last time that that was appropriate. What's the point of a process if you don't follow it? Co-operation is a two way street. cheers, steve -- stephen lau | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | www.whacked.net _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected] No virus found in this incoming message.
