Hi,
I'd like to add a VMware callout box on the homepage. I'd also like
to add callout boxes advertising Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft Office
too. They seem about as relevant and community-oriented as the
OpenStorage and VirtualBox boxes on the current homepage.
1) As far as I can tell, there was no discussion on website-content or
website-discuss about either of these boxes. (I'm happy to be corrected
if I'm wrong)
2) The boxes aren't relevant to OpenSolaris, and are blatantly
advertising Sun products. I thought we agreed to not let
opensolaris.org's homepage become an advertising medium for Sun products.
I'd like to request that these be taken down ASAP.
