As one of the largest single provider blocks of content on the site for almost 4 years now, defacto sounds like a reasonable response here. You didn't offer contracts when I created the ARC mirror stuff, so implying that I need one now is somewhat officious - unless you are offering to supply one that codifies the existing behavior.
