Right, there is nothing you can do as portal lead of jp.os.org. It's an 
app issue on our side.

We have to have a discussion on i18n-discuss about portal migrations to 
the new site. The issues will be more complex than simply migrating a 
project or community or user group. We are getting close, though. Let's 
talk about it, and then start the discussion there. I have some ideas 
but need the expertise from the globalization community.

I realize that. I'm checking. The fonts in the nav bar look much better 
in Firefox, but the problem still exists there as well. Unfortunately, 
IE has a significantly greater market share in Asia than in the west.
