We'll be deploying a new beta version of the Auth application on Monday
11th May. The time we are scheduling for this is between 12:00 UTC and
17:00 UTC, hopefully the outage will be brief but we are allowing
contingency in case we have to roll back. We'll send email just before
the outage starts, and when it is ended.
While the upgrade is in progress, you will not be able to log in to
either hub.opensolaris.org or jucr.opensolaris.org, although you will
still be able to browse those sites anonymously.
The bulk of changes are to the administrative parts of the application,
and those are not visible to non-admin users. The main user-visible
changes to Auth are:
1. Localization into Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.
2. The ability for Sun employees to validate their employee status.
We also hope to have fixed the intermittent outages that have been
preventing logins to Hub and Jucr.
