I asked about this inside Sun. I was told that the term "repository" was meant here to refer to the Mercurial and Subversion repositories (hg.opensolaris.org and svn.opensolaris.org), not the site as a whole. I've asked that the wording be updated to be clearer.
Well, that does include the translated portals. But since Mercurial and Subversion were not the only way to modify them (I never used them, actually), I think it's still needed to give more detail on which data/documents are subject to it (or which are not). It's not only code, that's for sure. Also, that's valid for the current site, but I'm not sure if Hg/SVN will be used for localized portals in the new infrastructure with XWiki, is that the case?
