If you are interested in helping there is still work to be done on
auth, for example extending the AuthClient library to provide
cross-domain authentication. At the moment it only works within the
opensolaris.org domain, because that's all we need for this phase. In
the future we'd like to make it possible for other domains to
authenticate against auth as well.
Sorry, I was mostly interested in OpenID as that specifically makes a
number of other integrations easier.
Am I mistaken or would it not be possible to map a known openid
authenticated user to specific SCA/Sun employment privileges? From a
developers perspective I could probably make it a configuration option
which is disabled by default, but it's probably less effort for everyone
if I just make and maintain the change on my side.
