hey ... We didn't automate anything on our end for this. And, actually, I
thought Glynn was the (human) bot counting people as they came in. Also, as far
as logs, I recall the OGB's IRC conversations were archived at this link (but I
see it's dead now along with all the previous meeting logs):

If you want something permanent along with the logs, instead of relying on
external transient resources I could try setting up an infobot which could be
stuffed with facts on the elections and such ( ala
http://radar.oreilly.com/archives/2006/04/the-perl-infobot.html ) which might
be a fun diversion for a day. How soon would this be needed?
The meeting starts on Thursday at noon PT (tomorrow). I'm sorry for the lack of
notice,
I didn't realize the old bot had died (and was just hoping for a pointer
on how to use it/access its content). I had no idea we were starting from
zero.
Looks like Plocher is testing something right now, which might get us
through this election, though it may be good ot have a log bot for both
#opensolaris and #opensolaris-meeting anyways that is associated with
opensolaris.org that will have more permanence (as Elaine notes above,
would be a good thing)
