it indeed seems to be hard to find out. It used to show in the admin interfaced, but doesn't do so anymore. The only thing I could find are change logs up to 2.4.5, but then, there are also occurences of "deprecated 2.5" on commented out code, so it's probably even 2.5.
Sigh... we really need to improve the fact that so many things are still undocumented. :-(
