The main question is why are you considering adding 5.1 in addition to 5.0 instead of replacing it? As to the review, for most version upgrades where the tarball is simply replaced by a newer version, the webrev will show the relevant changes between the makefiles, install files and such. Here, since it's an all-new set of files I can't (conveniently) compare whether anything important (besides the obvious like version number string and such) has changed in these files, so not easy to review. It'd be nice to provide diffs of all these files somewhere, so not every reviewer needs to do it manually..
