Jeff,

There *has* been activity in cvs, but no one has gotten around to
making a release. I just made a small enhancement to MiddleKit recently
and others have been making enhancements here and there. If you
subscribe to the webware-checkins list you'll be able to see this more
directly.

We also added a couple more developers this past summer which is good
for the project.

One phenomena is that the people who are making contribs are also
comfortable using Webware out of cvs. Hence we don't get inspired to
make releases very often. Sorry.

Another phenomena is that for early contributors like myself and Geoff
Talvola, Webware is doing 99% of what we need it to do. So you don't
see a lot changes coming from us even though we use it daily.

I can guarantee you that the project is still alive, stable and
usable. I use it almost every calendar day. If it's not doing
everything you would like it to, feel free to contribute in any way
ranging from discussions to actual coding. Also, I recommend becoming
familiar with anonymous cvs access (if you're not already) as it will
give you faster access to changes.

I CC'ed the discussion list as I thought these items were important for
everyone to hear.
