I get an authentication error:

$ cvs -z9
-d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/Webware co
webware
cvs checkout: warning: failed to open /home/michael/.cvspass for
reading: No such file or directory
cvs checkout: authorization failed: server cvs.webware.sourceforge.net
rejected access to /cvsroot/Webware for user anonymous
cvs checkout: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password

Using login gives similar results.
