I was going to point this out too, that just adding a fixed offset in
hPa is not the same as applying the altitude formula.

So, from a hard-core viewpoint, perhaps the best approach is:

  map absolute pressure to station pressure

  ignore "relative pressure" as unsound

  let StdCalculate computer altimiter pressure and barometer pressure

with an implicit

  let the user calibrate the GW1000's absolute pressure, or enter in a
  calibtration in StdCalibrate (or just not worry about it)
