I believe it came down to replace 21028 which had a mishap near Abertillery back in the winter. However, that vehicle has been repaired and is back out. 21138 has been used at Blackwood of late, but I was rather surprised to see it working off Cwmbran this morning. Yes, the ride quality is very poor, but it went rather well along the M4 between Newport and Cardiff. The driver did hit a pothole somewhere in Cardiff, and I thought the bus was going to fall apart - it was that heavy. It probably was used for Schools services elsewhere, but fortunately, the seating is still 2+2.
