https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.1/+bug/75724 I did this test with the Feisty 4.1-GCC and with my self-compiled 4.0-GCC. With 4.1 the same error, with 4.0 it worked. I have my 4.0-version from here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.0/ => ubuntu-patches applied and compiled. The apt-get compilation doesn't work because it's officially no longer supported on x86!
