Follow-up Comment #8, bug #9472 (project wesnoth):
The problem is with the 1.2.6 windows version.
It works fine with linux/max/windows on 1.3.6 and with linux/mac on 1.2.6.
Zookeeper and I can provide more savegames if necessary.
