Details:
IMO the game should default to not install the python packages. The reason
for this is simple:
Installing the game as normal user should always be possible using
--prefix=~/. This is not possible when defaulting to installing the python
extra packages into the system python path. So in short:
Please do default to disabling the installation of python and only install it
when a ./configure param --enable-python-install is set.
This is a change that can IMO happen while the feature freeze is active,
since it will not have any impact on the main game/editor/server.
