Details:
Occasionally I notice an allied AI elf fighter sidling up next to an orcish
warrior... and not taking a shot. I can understand the AI choosing not to
engage in an action that might get the elf hurt (melee combat), but after
sidling up next to a unit that can be attacked at no damage risk, it's very
seldom the right thing to hold off on the shot.
Unfortunately, this is hard to produce a save for: it's on the AI's turn, and
is rare.
I don't recall seeing this in 1.6.x, but I might just not have noticed it.
