Details:
I have come upon two bugs using non-default AMLA advancement. To set the
stage, I am creating the "Evolving Era" which basically gives the player lots
of options upon level-up. Some of the choices are unit advancements. The first
bug is simple: a unit can only take a single advancement through AMLA. For
example, a level 0 unit can reach AMLA XP, select the level 1 option, reach
AMLA again, but the level 2 option will not appear. I have tested various
units, they are all like this. Leaders (level 1 units in this case) can
advance to the level 2 units which regular level 0 recruits can't
(eventually) reach.
The second bug is also related to unit advancement. The full_heal involved
with leveling takes place immediately upon level up and as a result, when a
"normal" unit advancement is selected from the AMLA options, the original
unit's maximum HP is made the newly-leveled unit's current HP. A simple post
advance event seems like an easy answer. However, it did not work. I have
tried several work-arounds and it really seems like it may be core-AMLA code
that is preventing the newly advanced unit's HP from being replenished.
