Follow-up Comment #2, bug #16223 (project wesnoth):

This is a rather important bug to fix, as it totally breaks scenarios
depending on a shared keep. What's the progress? I would prefer completing
the campaign I am working on, but I can try fixing this bug instead if noone
is working on it.

In my own scenario, that's depending on a shared keep, I have created a
workaround by having a moveto trigger and manually relocating the leader.
This may be used in other places as well (especially in mainline if noone is
able to fix the bug).
