Follow-up Comment #2, bug #20009 (project wesnoth):
I suppose this bug is not related to my changes to the map format syntax.
Most of the changes have been reverted in the meantime and the bug is still
present.
I have checked that the codepath never reaches the map generation code which
could fail because of the syntax changes to the map format.
I have followed the problem into playcampaign.cpp line 344.
The multiplayer scenario is not found in the game_config object.
This is because of the empty sides.next_scenario() value.
