At least we should remove the "experimental" note from the comments if we really want people to play with this faction. I fear that anything non default will provide some distraction. Would it at least make sense to have the "default selection" on "default + khalifate" instead of just on "default"? For rather casual players that era should be well enough balanced based on what you wrote. Those who care will switch to "default" themselves. Honestly I really fear that the same as with the age of heroes happens where we still have some "problems" with the worth of the higher level units, right?
