Eric, For starters, make the "From" field in WUG SMTP Mail to a known mailbox in your Exchange system using the fully-qualified domain name, ie '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
Your Exchange server is likely configured to prevent it from relaying any incoming messages not destined for an inbound mailbox. This is a GOOD thing... be sure not to re-configured the IMC to relay any incoming SMTP mail, lest a spammer discover such an inviting host for his/her exploits... -Shawn > -----Original Message----- > From: Wieczorek, Eric SGT NE-ARNG > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, August 15, 2002 12:50 PM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] WhatsUpGold SMTPMail > > > I have configured WUG to send email notifications out, to > users on my staff, > if routers or switches go down.
