I am still trying to figure out SNMP Traps and how to monitor for them.
Currently, I have a monitor set up that tells me when I go to battery. I
have no idea how it works, as I didn't set it up. I have a service set up
with the object ID of 1.3.6.1.2.1.33.1.6.3.2, it checks for constant value,
value = 1, If value matches = up.
I want to also know when it goes back on power. I captured the following
traps -

When it flips to battery -
20030826 150928 SNMP 10.0.1.218 Trap(mib-2.33.2-6.3)
mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.1.41=41 mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.2.41=mib-2.33.1.6.3.18
Addr:10.0.1.218 Int:6 Int:3 Tick:"303 days 22:54:07"
20030826 150928 SNMP 10.0.1.218 Trap(mib-2.33.2-6.1) mib-2.33.1.2.3=81
mib-2.33.1.2.2=0 mib-2.33.1.9.7=10 Addr:10.0.1.218 Int:6 Int:1 Tick:"303
days 22:54:06"

When it goes back to power -
20030826 150950 SNMP 10.0.1.218 Trap(mib-2.33.2-6.4)
mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.1.41=41 mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.2.41=mib-2.33.1.6.3.18
Addr:10.0.1.218 Int:6 Int:4 Tick:"303 days 22:54:29"
20030826 150950 SNMP 10.0.1.218 Trap(mib-2.33.2-6.4)
mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.1.40=40 mib-2.33.1.6.2.1.2.40=mib-2.33.1.6.3.2
Addr:10.0.1.218 Int:6 Int:4 Tick:"303 days 22:54:29"

Anyone know the best way to set it up so that it alerts me when it comes
back on power?

Thanks,

Eric Dami
