[WhatsUp Forum] .Tab Files, what are they and why they so large?

I don't remember the .TAB files being so large...i installed WUG on a new server and redid my maps... my TAB files are like 460MB  each!

Anyone tell me what these TAB files hold and why my new maps are 460MB when my old ones were 4.6MB on my old server?

Grant it, i am monitoring more interfaces and services, but thats A BIG DIFFERENCE!

Also, whats the dif between an EV-<date>.tab file and an SP-<date>.tab
