Uh... from the front page: "Wikiversity is a Wikimedia Foundation project devoted to learning resources and learning projects for all levels, types, and styles of education from pre-school to university, including professional training and informal learning." That is something complety different. The focus is on learning/teaching, not on research. And it's for learning about anything, not focused on researching wikis.
