So the end all, be all, is that I screwed up in planning. This is the first time we ever scheduled a meet that wasn't something small. No one (except Cary) thought to define a specific point, and I didn't see the Facebook notice myself until after the fact.
Now we know that in the future, any meetups in locations bigger than a restaurant - should have a very specific location. How about we get some GPS coordinates going too? We could have a Geocache'd [1] wikimeet, or maybe a radio foxhunt [2]. If you can find the meetup, you can participate!!! -Jon [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching [2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmitter_hunting On Sun, Aug 8, 2010 at 18:13, Robert Rohde <raro...@gmail.com> wrote: > On Sun, Aug 8, 2010 at 4:21 PM, Cary Bass <c...@wikimedia.org> wrote: > <snip> > > > The Facebook page > > mentioned 19th and Delores (which I put in myself, knowing that Delores > > Park is a big park and often takes some time to find people). > > What Facebook page?
