You are completely right River. We want as many people as possible to become members in order for our membership to better represent the community of UK Wikimedians. By becoming a member you get a democratic say in the running of the chapter, which gives you the power to influence what we spend our money on, what we do, who we vote for for the chapter board seat etc etc.
