I'd really hate to PAY to make the software I've already paid for as part of the cost of the drives work as it is supposed to work.
Rarely if ever do I count the software that comes with any hardware part of what I paid for. I have so many copies of OEM Nero laying around here that it ain't even funny. One OEM copy might be in use but I'm sure that's it.
