In the event of a WTC-like disaster, would the tapes be within a logical
'ground zero'? Prior to 9/11, many sites kept backups on site, if they kept
them at all. Now many move them to a secure location off site in case of a
similar disaster.

While your location should be sufficient in the event of a fire, probably a
tornado, maybe a hurricane, a major terrorist event could take out both the
live records and the backups 250 ft away. (Hubby hated it when we lived in Glen
Burnie - he thought the area would be a logical target for a nuclear attack.
Never mind that it was 1980, not 1950, he hated living there (and hates any big
city for the similar reasons). I figure if its my time to go, it's my time to
go.)

This way if disaster should strike we can have instant access to the backups
within only 250 FT walking distance.
